My name is Ana. I live in Romania (Europe). My country is hit hard by the crisis. Many businesses have gone bankrupt, many hospitals and schools were closed.
Unemployed people are desperate, because only can survive.
I am 59 years old and was an analyst programmer. I worked 32 years in a society that was restructured. Now I'm retired. My pension is 140 euros ($ 188). I think you realize how hard I live. I have to make loans each month to pay all bills. Sometimes I stay without money for food ... I am desperate because of debt ...
I'm embarrassed to have to tell you, but I'm desperate. Society in which I live humiliate me. You may think that I am without dignity, but please put yourself in my situation .... then you can understand me.
